Carter's First Haircut

I'm going to try and catch up one blog at a time. A little each night. I just realized it's been 2 months since any new pictures have been posted and that's pretty sad since we've taken about 200. I'll start with Carter's first haircut. This was near the end of February and it was needed. His bangs were getting pretty long, hair over the ears and he was at the beginning of having a mullet. Not that mullets are bad, but when he lays on his head a lot and there begins to be a little bald spot just above the mullet in the back, it's not too pretty. I should have taken a picture, but missed the opportunity.

Overall he did pretty well. No crying. No squirming. He just sat there and looked at all of us. Austin came in near the middle and kept Carter entertained also.

Looks a little creepy, like a floating head.

This kid sticks everything in his mouth. Didn't like it too much after the first time he got a mouthful of hair though.

Austin loves trying to make Carter laugh/smile. Carter just thinks he's crazy.

The final product with a little spike.

He is never going to be able to work a faux-hawk with short hair. Luckily his mother is far more talented than me, so he doesnt have to work the Lloyd look from Dumb and Dumber like my poor son.
