Here we go

This is my first attempt to catch up on the last 2-3 months of our lives. It will be more pictures than writing, but they are definitely more fun to look at than my ramblings. So.....in the last few months.......

Kaylee and I had a Daddy/Daughter date. We went to IHOP to have their Horton Hears a Who breakfast which was pancakes covered in bright blue and purple syrup with a sucker on top and then green eggs & ham. Then we went and saw Horton Hears a Who and stuffed our faces. It was great.

Kaylee has started sharing her precious bear with Carter and he loves it.

Kaylee turned 5!!

And Jess made her a beautiful cake.

Kaylee got her ears pierced for her birthday.

And was spoiled like crazy.

I also had a birthday on May 7th. 32 years old!! Austin was the chef.

Jess made it look good as usual. She knows my addiction to chocolate and my favorite desserts being yellow cake with chocolate frosting or fudge brownies so she combined the two. I was in heaven!

I couldn't help myself.

Carter is still our beautiful little peanut.

The dreaded 'bath picture with the brother/sister' to show the future boyfriends/girlfriends.

Kaylee graduated preschool in the spring and will be going to kindergarten in 3 WEEKS!

Austin still likes to show off his muscles.

Don't ask.

Kaylee also had a dance recital. She was great!

That's it for now. I was having some technical difficulties. I'll do another post hopefully soon with pics from our trip to Virginia and the beach house and also the 4th of July.

Wow

So does anyone else have random people look at their blog and repremand them for not having the totally correct information on medical equipment? Okay, so repremand may be a little harsh, but yesterday I had some random person send me a comment on my Billibed Anyone? blog back in November. I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about billibeds except that it made Carter not have to go back to the hospital and got him better. I'm thankful for that. I didn't really feel like I needed to run to the encyclopedia and study everything about jaundice, billirubin or billibeds. Apparently someone thinks I should have so they were oh so nice enough to provide me with that information, word for word, yesterday. My favorite part is their first line. Something about minding if they leave a little comment as they proceed to write a dissertation. I wasn't going to even post it, but I guess people are still coming to our blog looking for billibed information and it apparently is more correct than anything I said. So if anyone is interested in billibed abilities, the causes, symptoms and solutions to billirubin or anything else about jaundice, feel free to check out our Billibed Anyone? blog. I may sound a little harsh, but I found it a little strange, but at the same time it may help some other parent's out there so deep down I'm thankful if it helps someone else.

I'll be back tonight to blog and post picks from the last couple of months. I'm serious................stop laughing...............okay, get up off the floor............
